- Dark chocolate 112.5 g
- Butter 56.25 g
- Eggs 2.25 pcs
- Water 33.75 g
- Sugar 75 g
- Flour 75 g
- Baking powder 4 g
- Rum or cherry brandy 15 g
- Preserved cherries, drained 75 g
Melt the chocolate together with the butter over a bain marie. Mix the eggs and the water to a foamy consistency while slowly adding sugar (the mixture will have a very light colour). Add the flour, baking powder, chocolate and drained cherries – mix well. Grease the universal pan well with butter and dust with flour. Fill it with the dough.
Bake the chocolate cake in a preheated gas kettle barbecue at 200 °C for 30 to 40 minutes.
